About Madi Kirch
I believe in empowering committed athletes to reach their goals through consistent, data-driven workouts that balance intensity with the joy training can and should bring. Integrating all aspects of an athlete’s life (athletic strengths and weakness, mindset, work, family, community, etc.) is essential for long term success.
I became hooked on triathlons the instant I began training for my first race in Philadelphia back in 2013. Ever eager, I even signed up for my second triathlon at the packet pickup & expo before even starting my first race.
Since then, I have advanced through the Age Group rankings and have tried races of every distance, including a 50k trail run in one of my favorite training locations, the mountains of Aspen/Snowmass. My passion for triathlon and endurance events has grown each year as I learn more about myself and the sport.
Interested by the intersection between the mind and body from a young age, I studied exercise and sports science and psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I then went on to complete my Master of Public Health degree with a focus on exercise physiology at George Washington University. I am certified as a USAT Level 1 Triathlon Coach & ACE Personal Trainer. Outside of coaching, I serve as a Mental Health Program Manager at Google. In my free time you can find me on the trails in Boulder and Aspen, CO with my favorite four-legged training partner, Gable the Vizsla.

Testimonials
“Madi is an amazing coach. She’s a hardcore practitioner herself plus has tremendous knowledge the science of how the body works under pressure. She can pull from her own experience as well as the sports science to give really good feedback. I had no clue what I was doing, was over-trained and under-nourished and focusing on the wrong things. Now I’ve got a mix of cardio, strength and rest - and a plan for each race. The difference is huge!”
- Gordon, Gravel/MTB Cyclist and SkiMo athlete
“Working with Madi has been instrumental in helping me achieve my marathon goals. Instead of a generic plan, my training was truly designed for me. Madi considered my strengths, weaknesses and busy schedule, and constructed a tailored plan that propelled me from a 4:09 to 3:53 marathon finish. She helped me remain committed to the work and challenged me to beat the ingrained expectations I had of myself. I cannot thank her enough!”
- Rebecca, Marathoner
